I think it is important to recognize that when Ralph speaks about insatiable corporate greed, it means something more significant than a general desire for "more". We are at a point where the math of exponential compound interest has become world-driving. If the top 0.1% keep the same 7.3% annual increase in assets they’ve had since 1992, in 2055 they will have $200 trillion, or 11% more assets than all Americans have today. That means that they need to be opening up new and more rapacious channels of exploitation more and more rapidly to postpone the inevitable collapse of financier capitalism. As an artist and art teacher, I note the word 'artificial' (AI) in relation to the word, "Art". As Mr. Nader cites, Artificial Intelligence has been around a very long time. In making art today, I have seen the 'art world's' dominant exhibitions based primarily toward graphic-related and conceptual based art. "Responsive" art where the artist works directly from life, such as from still life, landscape and the figure/portrait, has become relegated to a secondary status. The 'open' response to working directly from life at the moment allows the artist to respond without as much preconception. The 'concept' or idea develops organically, uncertainly. I feel today that such art making (at one time revolutionary, now almost quaint) has actually become revolutionary again in counterbalance to the dominance of much 'artificially' arrived at preconception made Art.

It is therefore not surprising that he disagreed with the behavior of his boss, Sam Altman, and OpenAI's business practices. He developed an increasingly critical attitude toward management and his boss.
Sam Altman is notorious within the company for his lies and power plays. Suchir Balaji had absolutely no understanding for this and was ultimately quite disgusted by his behavior.
He also witnessed OpenAI's transformation from a non-profit, open-source project into a for-profit, closed-source company.
It's important to understand that the development of ChatGPT was only possible by feeding and training the AI with gigantic amounts of data, including vast quantities of copyrighted material.
OpenAI was only able to use this data free of charge and without the permission of the copyright holders because the company presented itself as a non-profit project.
The use of copyrighted material is considered permissible if it is a research project that does not generate profits and serves the public good.
In retrospect, it is clear that OpenAI deliberately exploited this situation. The billions in profits the company now generates are largely due to OpenAI's free access to this data during its non-profit phase.
For Suchir Balaji, this practice was completely unacceptable.
Suchir left the company in the summer of 2024, having made crucial contributions to the development of ChatGPT during his four years there.
In the months leading up to his violent death, he was preparing to launch his own startup and wrote a scientific paper on the future of large language models (LLMs) like ChatGPT.
In this work, which unfortunately remained unfinished, he refuted the so-called scaling hypothesis, championed by OpenAI and most other AI companies.
This hypothesis states that the intelligence of AI models can be developed indefinitely as long as they are fed enough data. It forms the basis for the grandiose promises of AI companies.
The achievement of a level of artificial general intelligence (AGI) has been announced for years.

As an artist and art teacher, I note the word 'artificial' (AI) in relation to the word, "Art". As Mr. Nader cites, Artificial Intelligence has been around a very long time. In making art today, I have seen the 'art world's' dominant exhibitions based primarily toward graphic-related and conceptual based art. "Responsive" art where the artist works directly from life, such as from still life, landscape and the figure/portrait, has become relegated to a secondary status. The 'open' response to working directly from life at the moment allows the artist to respond without as much preconception. The 'concept' or idea develops organically, uncertainly. I feel today that such art making (at one time revolutionary, now almost quaint) has actually become revolutionary again in counterbalance to the dominance of much 'artificially' arrived at preconception made Art.

I hadn't moved to the US when Jesse Jackson ran. I had never listened to the speeches in the Democratic conventions, I only listened to parts of them throughout out the years. It is not only that he was a great orator, he had the right message.
Over and over this country misses opportunities to be fairer and more equal. Same happened with Ralph, and Bernie, to an extent.

Dude.. Honestly.. The Russia-gate nonsense really has been debunked so absolutely that the only people who still believe in it are NPR/Rachel Maddow brainwashed mental robots. I have no great love for Putin or Russia, but I do have a love for the truth. And all of this Russia hysteria is simply not the truth.

Ralph could also help lead citizens to create a nice quilt of a non-profit media conglomerate financed by selling shares for one hundred dollars each. These shares could only be owned by citizens and no one person could own more than ten shares. The shares could only be sold for one hundred dollars as the purpose of owning the shares is for ordinary citizens to control the media and not to make money off the value of the shares.
Just 6-7% of the 150 million voters investing in one share would total 1 billion dollars and could be just the tip of the iceberg.
Unlike A.I. corporate control of the media and politicians can be turned off by using our votes and money to eliminate the electricity of big money that fuels corporate control of the media and politicians.
I can tell myself that I am somebody because I have these ideas that I think could help citizens take control of media and politicians but it really doesn't do much good if people like Ralph do not recognize me as somebody by discussing these ideas with me.

Once upon a time there was a ruler of a big powerful country... and he could become anything he wanted to be at anytime. He had people around him that could and would do his will when ever he wanted them too. They were called lackies.
So one day he became a snake.
And the lackies didn't know what to do, because as a snake he crawled anywhere where he wanted and he could fire or dismiss anybody body with one quick bite. ( Children being fired is you lose your job and you might become a bum and nobody in government with a job wanted to be a bum or be forced to out into the real world and get a real job, and yes children there are dedicated government workers that do hard jobs) And so all his lackies were so scared but they could do nothing. Other rulers of other countries thought and thought about what to do with the big snake and his lackies. They were preplexed! Children preplexed means,,, I don't know,,, what should we do ?
They learned that the snake never listened to anyone, sure there were his lackies that talked to him but he never really ever listened to them, they would give him important notes to read but he couldn't and wouldn't read them, one time he was trying to read something about Tariffs and you could tell he was pretty clueless about what he was saying and everyone in the room became embarrassed,, who is this guy ? Is he really our leader?
But the snake was very good at lying and gassing along if the snake heard something that he liked he would do it because this is what a big snake will do with a small brain but it didn't always work out very well, he would do stupid things like call darked skinned human people apes, and try and take over other people's countries and try to claim a peace prize that was never offered, he even put the people's big beautiful military aircraft carriers in harms way, when other countries and his top military officers said only a moron would do that , meanwhile all his lackies stood by and said nothing. You see children there are a lot of small lackies with big brains and they all think they are smart. Remember children as you grow up you will meet a lot of people like that, they are called intellectuals, and some are even found in our best colleges and universities and some even go by the names of liberals and maga conservatives and when they all get together the lackies, intellectuals, liberals, and maga conservatives try to talk a snake there can be some real problems, and even big problems for rulers of other countries.

The Murder of an OpenAI Top Engineer and the True Dangers of Artificial Intelligence:
On November 22, 2024, 26-year-old former OpenAI engineer Suchir Balaji was brutally murdered in his San Francisco apartment.
Authorities ruled his death a suicide.
Suchir Balaji was a brilliant American IT engineer of Indian descent.
At the age of 22, he was hired by OpenAI as a top talent and played a key role in the development of ChatGPT.
In addition to his exceptional intelligence, he possessed a strong sense of justice and unwavering ethical principles.
It is therefore not surprising that he disagreed with the behavior of his boss, Sam Altman, and OpenAI's business practices. He developed an increasingly critical attitude toward management and his boss.
Sam Altman is notorious within the company for his lies and power plays. Suchir Balaji had absolutely no understanding for this and was ultimately quite disgusted by his behavior.
He also witnessed OpenAI's transformation from a non-profit, open-source project into a for-profit, closed-source company.
It's important to understand that the development of ChatGPT was only possible by feeding and training the AI with gigantic amounts of data, including vast quantities of copyrighted material.
OpenAI was only able to use this data free of charge and without the permission of the copyright holders because the company presented itself as a non-profit project.
The use of copyrighted material is considered permissible if it is a research project that does not generate profits and serves the public good.
In retrospect, it is clear that OpenAI deliberately exploited this situation. The billions in profits the company now generates are largely due to OpenAI's free access to this data during its non-profit phase.
For Suchir Balaji, this practice was completely unacceptable.
Suchir left the company in the summer of 2024, having made crucial contributions to the development of ChatGPT during his four years there.
In the months leading up to his violent death, he was preparing to launch his own startup and wrote a scientific paper on the future of large language models (LLMs) like ChatGPT.
In this work, which unfortunately remained unfinished, he refuted the so-called scaling hypothesis, championed by OpenAI and most other AI companies.
This hypothesis states that the intelligence of AI models can be developed indefinitely as long as they are fed enough data. It forms the basis for the grandiose promises of AI companies.
The achievement of a level of artificial general intelligence (AGI) has been announced for years.
AI models are supposedly about to develop superhuman intelligence (ASI = Artificial Super Intelligence), replace all kinds of jobs, cure diseases, create wealth for everyone, and so on.
In his unfinished essay, Suchir Balaji demonstrated in an impressive yet easily understandable way that, contrary to the claims of AI companies, large language models can never reach the level of human-like intelligence (AGI = Artificial General Intelligence).
He predicted that the fundamentally limited, abysmal data efficiency of this technology will inevitably slow down the further development of AI models and bring them to a standstill long before AGI is achieved.
This is an inconvenient truth for the AI industry, which it is trying to conceal to protect its business model.
Suchir Balaji was also slated to testify as a key witness in a lawsuit against OpenAI, which involved, among other things, massive copyright infringements.
