When gen x prevails in majority, and it will, every representative must form committees within their communities to propose and amended policies for coming generations. With the preservation of our founding constitution as their pillars.
In reality, time as we perceive it, the past can only be memorialized and set in stone as all life and creation is in constant forward motion. Perhaps the moment has arrived, in the evolution of our union, to instate a constitutional amendment requiring a citizen committee review process of the state of our constitution after so many ( #TBD ) evolutionary cycles.
The committee itself to have advisory boards from local communities within a congressional district. Our founding fathers had only their current lens of reality for governance. In that generation, their lense served a tiny fraction of the size of our current population and did not address “economic democracy”.

If you want the support of the approximately 700,000 Americans who live in your national capital, please contact YOUR senators and Congressional representatives and demand that they right this wrong by admitting the District of Columbia as the 51st state of the union. 226 years is much too long to ignore this outrageous treatment of your fellow Americans. We pay our federal taxes and have fought in America's wars -- often at a higher rate than the people of many states -- but are ignored and abused by the people YOU elect and send to Congress. Please wake up and correct this outrageous situation!

The Democratic Party, in supporting Israel under Biden, betrayed American values, principles, and laws just as much as the Republican Party has under Trump. I will only vote for democratic progressives or socialists, but will make an exception if the Democratic Party pledges to impeach Trump if they gain control of Congress as a result of the mid-term elections.
