I’m surprised Robert Weissman of Public Citizen had the courage to sit in the lion’s den of the US Senate and testify about the level of fraud perpetrated daily by Trump and his sycophants. Trump et al. operate like an organized crime syndicate. He’s really helping his base to fall further behind financially with his actions, although the fundamentalists among his ilk probably don’t care.

As Ralph Nader observed in this segment of the Radio Hour, this is the most corrupt administration in US history, hands down!

They’re headed for the 2026 Congressional election at this point and a truly vicious dictatorial regime could be in store. I’m still shocked that the remnants of democracy fell as quickly as it has.

Someone should tell Ted Cruz that not interrupting has to work both ways. Cruz himself kept interrupting.

Cruz is one of the most hated men in Congress. He met with a local wealthy donor a while back at our local "Roger Sherman Inn"--no doubt Cruz thinks he's a revolutionary but has no Constitutional creds. such as the only Founder from Connecticut to sign three founding documents.

Another great show. I would like to hear a followup on a next show regarding these evaporating bombs used in Gaza ( MK84) and which US Weapon Corporations are involved. We have West Bank being aggressed on as well. ✌️

Thanks for the professional program which addresses some of the most glaring criminality of the Trump regime.

What's happened in a little over a year has been the dismantling of worldwide humanitarian work the US has been doing, the systematic attack on the federal government's role in this country and the world to maintain law and order.

The government's redactions of the Epstein Files are a part of one of the biggest cover-ups. It looks like they've used all the insider information in those files to threaten and shake down some of the wealthiest people in this country and in the world, doing what Epstein apparently also did with his damning videos and blackmail information. The Trump people told them that they will suppress legally crippling information on them if they do what they are told. Trump is using the leverage provided by all this information to enrich himself and his family with largely fraudulent crypto schemes and to get these pedophile elite to pay for his many egomanical projects. The documents that have been released have created political upheavals and there will be calls for unredacted information to be released in keeping with the law. As investigator Nick Bryant has said these documents are like Pandora's box, once opened it cannot be shut.

I'm hoping the many dedicated people still in government will stay there and work to counter the criminality of the Trump people, the racist Maga crazies who want to turn back the clock on the law to the Antebellum period. We need to keep up the pressure on our elected representatives to do their jobs.

One of the best programs I have heard recently, from start to finish. Thanks to Public Citizen and Robert Weissman, and to the Radio Hour for hosting him. The level of corruption in this administration really is overwhelming. I had not realized that extent to which victims of fraud had been deprived of restitution as a result of Trump pardons. Truly heartbreaking. Two additional things stand out — the need to overturn Trump v. U.S. (I would like to hear a follow up discussion of whether and how this could be possible) and the corresponding importance of exploring impeachment proceedings against the six justices who instituted a silent coup by way of that decision; and the need to remove from Congress every politician who has enabled the genocide in Gaza. They are all war criminals, but, for the most part, are still flying under the radar. Politicians in both parties should be held accountable for this. Instead, Democratic politicians who have reliably supported the genocide are regularly feted on faux progressive media outlets such as MS NOW.

“Trump has “falsely and repeatedly claimed for more than a decade that millions of illegal immigrants vote in the U.S., arguing that was one factor in his 2020 loss,”

While there is ample court evidence that widespread fraud did not occur in the 2020 presidential election, the pronouncements of illegal immigrant voting continues. One has to understand the persistent allegations not as a legal issue, but in the minds of the white fascist Christian Right it is reference to their fanatic desire to purify the race. They consider all persons of color, brown or black, as “illegals” (untermensch) and therefore not qualified to vote. And it is their desire along with their Dictator and his henchmen to use force to keep these “illegals” from voting and skewing the results against a minority party that has gained power and refuses to give it up in any potential electoral defeat.

Hi there,

Just for the record: Concerning those vaporizing guns, there was an episode on Miami CSI that introduced the pubic to those devices (sorry, i don't remember the year). I don't recall an actual demonstration of the device but the scene showed "pieces" scattered all over a chainlink fence like confetti and they showed what the presumed device looked like during the episode. Thank you for listening. Peace and prayers be with us all.

The corruption is just sickening in the Trump administration. There's hope that the Democrats can win both Houses of Congress back, notwithstanding Trump getting hold of the state voter rolls and intimidating Democratic voters, as Ralph has pointed out. As Ralph said a long time ago: "It isn't that we didn't warn you."

What is happening in Cuba is criminal but Rubio and the administration and only reinforcing the belief that a strong community will fight against imperialism. Community/communism - American propaganda fails in so many areas, even the rhetorical. I listened to Code Pink's Medea Benjamin talking about the horrible things people are experiencing in Cuba, yet they are still a community that helps each other. Stark contrast to the American individualism. I want to believe that most of us would engage in this type of mutual aide but I am not sure that it would be MOST of us

Maybe Ralph can have her back because they are planning a flotilla to deliver things like solar panels to the Island.

I also heard that one of the TV late shows host came up with a great way to refer to the Epstein files: the Trump-Epstein Files. I think that's how we should refer to them since he is all over (or under?) the redactions, and also in plain sight
