Jeremy Scahill did not let him off the hook on his position of "defensive" weapons to a genocidal regime. Organize citizens to demand small donor candidates and enforce that demand with our votes starting in 2026. In just a few election cycles we can elect small donor candidates and purge the big money politicians and interests from our political process.
Help form a non-profit media conglomerate selling shares for 100 dollars each.There shares can only be owned by citizens and no one person can own more than ten shares. These shares can only be sold for 100 dollars as the purpose of owning the shares is for ordinary citizens to control the media and not to make money on the value of the shares.
Just 6-7% of the 150 million voters investing in one share would total 1 billion dollars and could be just the tip of the iceberg.
Think of all those radio stations that would be carrying the Radio Hour!
Now is the time to take real action to counter the "race to the bottom" we are offered by the corporate politicians whether they call themselves Democrats or Republicans. It is my bottom and the bottoms of other citizens where the pain will be felt if you don't do this.
This can be illustrated by an old joke I use as a comparison to our current political process. While it may seem more appropriate for Howard Stern than the Radio Hour, as you have ignored rational argument for over ten years maybe a little shock value will get through and you will finally give me an hour to discuss the ideas mentioned above.
A new sailor approached the captain of an whaling boat after a month out at sea and asked when they would be returning to port as he really needed a woman and there were none on the boat.
The captain said not for several more months but there was something he needed to show the new sailor.
He took the sailor down deep in the bowels of the boat and showed him a barrel with a hole in it. He told the sailor to come see him when he was done.
The sailor returned to the captain and reported that he felt much better.
The captain said he could use the barrel anytime except Fridays from 6 to midnight.
When the sailor asked why not Friday from 6 to midnight the captain told him that was his turn in the barrel.
This is similar to our political system.
We are stuck in the barrel with the Republicans taking their turn when the Democrats come up next to the barrel and say when that turn is over if you choose us instead of giving the Republicans another turn we will provide you with some vaseline.
It seems a little better at first but when you ask for more vaseline the Democrats say they had to put down the vaseline to steady the barrel.
The next thing you know the Repubilcans are standing next to the barrel saying if you give us the next turn we have a way where you might be able to get your own vaseline.
It is time to climb out of the barrel, hit the Republicans and Democrats over the head with it and throw them and the barrel off the boat.
Join the mutiny that is the New HEMP Revolution Ralph while there is still time fix the problems with our democracy because small amounts of vaseline does nothing to protect our bottoms from the constant violations from the corporate abusers.

Agricultural hemp is a great product which Ralph Nader enlightened a lot of people on, especially at the organic farming conference in 2004 when in Amherst he challenged Ron Paul to introduce legislation to legalize industrial hemp and he did! It took many years before Sensenbrenner retired and Congress pushed forward on this.
Ralph at one point asked about marijuana being outlawed and with it hemp. The easy answer is it is all about Nylon. Nylon was invented in 1935 and hemp was effectively removed as a competitor fiber in 1937. The reason we do not have that carbohydrate economy they talked about is Capitalism. It was more profitable for corporations if they produced nylon instead of hemp, if they used refined crude oil instead of hemp. Just another example of how capitalism kills people and the planet.
How does one get a job as a Director of Intellectual Capital ? It sounds almost as good the Director -Head of the Federal Reserve , you know that job where you meet once every 3 or 4 months or maybe once a year with 12 of your buddies over a nice hour long government lunch or dinner at one of those exclusive private golf resorts to decide to move that interest rate number up or down: to balance those inflation and unemployment rate numbers. ,, that must be a tough job. I bet it requires at least a PhD or Nobel Prize in math or physics,, or perhaps some bank teller 's experience working 9 to 5,,, 5 days a week with her depositors.
What is Intellectual Capital?
I remember when Condoleezza " Condi" Rice then secretary of state left the state department and went to Stanford University and Exxon-Mobile oil corporation donated that 10 million $$ to Stanford, I bet there was a lot intellectual Capital required for Condi to get that job as department "chair", to lecture on save the environment issues . Remember the Valdez?
Intellectual Capital must be something that's really " high brow" something the average Joe on the street could or would never really understand. It would be like discussing with my tennis buddies the theory of " the ball bounce" but once on the court does anyone really care ? Maybe intellectual Capital is something that will make a difference in people's lives. Let's say you could whisper into Trump's ear and next week the Iran war would be over or maybe with a word or two you could easily help Putin get out of his feasco land grab with Ukraine.
So is my theory, on the tennis court, of how the ball really bounces that important? My guess is if there ain't no results ,it ain't all worth to much .
