I wish it were as simple as Floridians not doing their homework and electing Trick Scott Gov and then US Senator. Everyone knew about his upcoding scam at Columbia prior to their merger with HCA. The only thing we didn’t know was who called off the dogs. Who told the FBI to stop investigating him? My guess is it was his business partner, then Sen Bill Frist. He’s the only one with the clout to do so.
As for winning the Senate election that is easy to explain. The Broward DEC and Bill Nelson’s campaign failed to screen the ballot design which was flawed and cost Nelson 10,000 votes - the exact amount Trick Scott won by.
As for Baker’s statement about Obama trying to cut SS, I remember it well. It was former Rep Alan Grayson who stopped it with his No Cuts petition which garnered over a million signatures which he personally delivered to the White House. And our We Want Alan Grayson Back FB group helped.
His 2016 senate campaign was also sabotaged by Obama, Reid, Schumer and Tester even though he was the only one polling to beat Rubio. Once again Broward corporatist dem operatives had a hand in maligning Grayson falsely accusing him of domestic violence even though an investigation cleared him. Grayson once said Florida was the most corrupt state in the union. Hard to argue with that

There have been a lot of interviews, not in the mainstream press, on how terrible the Israeli attacks in Lebanon have been. George Galloway did one interview which was shocking in the barbarity of the Israelis.
Once again a program highlighting the symptoms of our politicians and media being controlled by the big money interests.
There were many mentions of solutions to problems being one percent or less of the federal budget.
There is a solution to our politicians and media being controlled by the big money interests that is less than one percent of most citizen's budget.
Just 6-7% of the 150 million voters investing just 100 dollars in contributions to small donor candidates would total 1 billion dollars and could be just the tip of the iceberg.
Combining this with citizens making a demand for small donor candidates and enforcing that demand with our votes in 2026 would begin the process of removing that big money from our political process so we could begin electing small donor candidates in 2028 that are not controlled by big money.
This could result in major progress on politicians being controlled by big money by 2030, 2032 which would be much faster than any legislative solutions enacted by the big money politicians which is unlikely to happen in even 10-20 years.
Just 6-7% of the 150 million voters investing just 100 dollars in a share of a non-profit media conglomerate would total 1 billion dollars.
These shares could only be owned by citizens and no one citizen could own more than 10 shares. These shares could only be sold for 100 dollars as the purpose of owning the shares would be for ordinary citizens to control the media conglomerate and not to make money on the value of the shares.
This would provide an alternative to media controlled by the big money interests.
Every week I post comments on this low cost solution to the problems highlighted every week on the symptoms of these problems and Ralph does not respond.
Is this because Ralph does not see these comments or does he think that these strategies will not work?
If he thinks these strategies will not work then it would be nice to hear his explanation.
He has said that politicians want our votes more than big money which would at least imply that demanding small donor candidates and enforcing that demand with our votes would work.
Isn't it time for Ralph to finally spend one small hour of his time to discuss these strategies with me to find out if they are feasible?
